Loan Signing
Loan signing service details are not configured yet. Setup is required before this service can be presented, priced, or booked.
What loan signing covers
A loan-signing appointment collects the signatures of the signer on a residential loan document package. The package is prepared by the lender and the settlement or coordination party, and may include documents such as the note, the deed of trust, and the closing statement.
The loan signing agent works from the document package and the signing instructions provided by the coordination party. The agent does not set loan terms, explain interest rates, or advise the borrower on loan choices.
What to expect at a signing
The borrower or signer appears in person and must be identified through satisfactory evidence permitted by California law. No particular identification document is promised acceptable until it is reviewed. Signatures are collected in the order the document package requires, and the completed file is routed back to the coordination party.
The borrower is responsible for reviewing their own documents and for directing questions about loan terms to the lender or the settlement representative.
